The 4th International Symposium on Oil and Gas Resources of Western Newfoundland, scheduled for September 11-13, 2009 at Marble Mountain Ski Resort will continue to be the premier forum to expose international explorers, scientists and investors to the significant potential of onshore and offshore Western Newfoundland, Canada. It will provide participants with the opportunity to meet representatives of research institutions, current landholders and energy officials and to encourage increased exploration.

Some of the most prominent players in eastern North America will present their latest insights into the petroleum geology of Western Newfoundland as well; attract investment and exploration partners to this new exploration frontier. This year’s Symposium will include international, national and local petroleum players as speakers and delegates. Once again, local oil and gas companies will have the opportunity to exhibit their businesses in the EXPLO area. We hope to create a broad range of potential interest and in turn, obtain our objective of exploration activity in Western Newfoundland.

The 4th International Symposium is an event focused on attracting and promoting oil and gas exploration activity to Western Newfoundland. Through a focused and integrated marketing plan, we hope to increase the interest of current Western Newfoundland oil and gas exploration companies and their networks, researchers, government support and current and new investors.
